Terms & Conditions
These terms govern cleaning services provided by Climbkit Cleaning Sdn Bhd (Reg. No. 202301015842 (1499307-A)). Booking a visit means you accept them. They are written to be read, not to hide things.
1. Quotes and rates
Quotes are issued after a walkthrough (in person, or by photo/video for one-off jobs) and state a flat rate for a defined scope. Recurring-plan rates stay fixed for twelve months from the first visit. If a job on site is materially different from what was described — say, a “lightly used” unit that turns out to have hosted a family of six and a parrot — we will tell you before starting and agree on any revision, or you may cancel at no charge.
2. Booking, rescheduling, cancelling
Recurring visits may be skipped or moved free of charge with at least one working day’s notice. Cancellations after 5:00pm the day before, or when the crew cannot gain the agreed access, are charged at fifty percent of the visit rate. One-off bookings require a 20% deposit, refundable per the Return & Refund Policy.
3. Access and keys
Where you provide keys, access cards or codes, handling is logged and restricted to your assigned crew lead. We are not responsible for delays caused by building management procedures we were not told about. If access fails through our fault, the visit is rescheduled free and your next visit is discounted 20%.
4. Our work and its guarantee
Every visit follows the written checklist agreed for your address. If something on the checklist was missed, tell us within 24 hours and we will return to put it right at no cost. That guarantee covers cleaning quality; it does not cover pre-existing damage, permanent staining, or wear that cleaning cannot reverse — we will point such items out rather than pretend.
5. Damage and liability
We carry public liability cover of RM2,000,000. Damage claims must be reported within 48 hours of the visit, with photos where possible. We will repair or replace at current market value. We are not liable for items that were already broken, improperly mounted, or that you asked us to clean against our advice.
6. Payment
Residential visits are payable on completion by bank transfer, DuitNow or cash. Commercial contracts are invoiced monthly, payable within fourteen days. Amounts unpaid thirty days after the due date pause the service and may accrue interest at 1.5% per month.
7. Your responsibilities
Please secure valuables, jewellery and documents before visits; put fragile heirlooms out of the work path; and tell us about anything unusual — aggressive pets, wet paint, a floor that must not see water. Surprises make jobs slower and stories longer.
8. Ending a recurring plan
Either side may end a recurring plan with two weeks’ written notice, no reason needed and no penalty. Commercial contracts end with one month’s notice as stated in the service agreement.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia. We will always try to resolve a dispute by talking first; failing that, the courts of Malaysia have jurisdiction.
